Coronavirus Travel & Health Updates

Updated on March 12, 2020

FTF is continuing to closely monitor the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (“CDC”) response to the outbreak of respiratory disease caused by a novel (new) coronavirus (“COVID-19”).

After further discussions, and in light of the recent escalated developments, we made the difficult decision to postpone DerivOps North America 2020, previously scheduled for May 13 &14 in Chicago.

While it would have been our preference to provide a new date along with this announcement, we will have to secure a new venue along with the new date and that might take some time. But rest assured, DerivOps North America WILL be rescheduled and all registrations will be transferred to the new date.

As an update here is a list of the current FTF events that have been postponed or rescheduled:

  • Performance Measure Americas 2020 on March 19 & 29, 2020 at the Downtown Dream Hotel in New York is rescheduled for March 11 & 12, 2021. All current registrations for the 2020 Performance Measure Americas conference shall be credited to the March 11 & 12, 2021.
  • Women is Corporate Actions - How Innovation Now Drives Corporate Actions on March 26, 2020 at the Dream Downtown Hotel in New York will be rescheduled for a later date. All confirmed attendees will be notified once a new date is scheduled.
  • How the Changing Dynamics of Corporate Actions Can Work for You on April 28, 2020 in London will be rescheduled for a later date. All confirmed attendees will be notified once a new date is scheduled.
  • DerivOps North America 2020 on May 13 & 14, 2020 at the J.W. Marriott in Chicago will be rescheduled for a later date. All confirmed attendees will be notified once a new date is scheduled.

Thank you for your continued understanding and patience during this time!

Updated on March 5, 2020

As you know,  FTF has been closely monitoring the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (“CDC”) response to the outbreak of respiratory disease caused by a novel (new) coronavirus (“COVID-19”) that was first detected in China and which has now been detected in almost 70 locations internationally, including in the United States.

Additionally, we’ve had continual discussions with our advisory boards, event speakers, business advisors, event venues and fellow attendees.  As of Wednesday morning (March 4, 2020), we had no indication our events would be affected.  Things, however, did change over the past 24 hours with new travel updates and restrictions from speakers, sponsors and attendees.  Based on this new information, and as a result of the potential public health risks associated with COVID-19 and increased government travel restrictions, we have been working closely with our venues and have reluctantly decided to reschedule the following events:

    • Performance Measure Americas 2020 on March 19 & 29, 2020 at the Downtown Dream Hotel in New York will be rescheduled to March 11 &12, 2021.

Thank you for understanding and patience during this time, and please be safe.
